One of my favourite views of Loch Katrine
and the base of Ben Venue from the top of
Ben A'an.
Climbing Ben A'an is not the hardest to do
but the views over Loch Katrine far exceed
the 1,512 ft that has been ascended.

Ben Lomond is a bit more strenuous than
Ben A'an but has some magnificent views
over Loch Lomond.
Starting at Rowardennan Pier car park
about 45 ft above sea level and ascending
3,195 ft to the summit it is rewarding when
you reach it. |

Ben Arthur more commonly known as the
Cobbler at 2,900 ft doesn't quite reach
Munro status but despite that it is very
popular with walkers. Part of the Arrochar
Alps it has Beinn Ime and Beinn Narnain
close at hand both Munro's.
