Beinn Ime (Arrochar)

Beinn Ime 3317Ft (1011m).

Having went the same route to Ben Arthur (Cobbler) and Ben Narnain we decided to try the Glen Croe (A83) side. Coming from Arrochar there is a small parking area about 1 mile (1.5km) from the Rest and be thankful. The notice board mentions the Cobbler & Beinn Narnain but for some reason doesn't mention Beinn Ime (the highest Mountain in the area).

Follow the stream up until you reach the Bealach a' Mhaim (Mountain Pass). Just before you reach the fence crossing point turn left and start climbing the smooth grassy slope of Beinn Ime.

It took us 3.5 hours to reach the Top from the car parking area, as we have the dog and I stop frequently to take pictures, we are not the fastest climbers about.
