Burnt Hill 1594 Ft (486M)

We parked about 2¼ miles past Loch Thom going towards Largs on the old road. The walk was about 4½ miles there and back. We more or less followed the North Black Burn up then turned South towards South Burnt Hill.Using South Burnt Hill as a Map Reference we then turned towards Burnt Hill which is about one mile away. Like all Moors the walking is hard going with many deep pot holes and ditches so great care should be taken.
The views over the Firth of Clyde are well worth it.
