When not moving around the country this is one of my favourite
walks, situated on the outskirts of Kilmacolm (A761 Road)
two miles from the Bridge of Weir side. The scenery is forever
changing with the seasons. It is a bit muddy at the head
of the Loch so good walking boots are recommended especially
if you decide to extend the walk to the higher ground on
the right.
Most of the land around the Loch is used for Cattle grazing
so please leave gates as you find them. The area is not
suitable for mountain bikes.
