Weekend in Orkney

Going Home
|
| For an unplanned weekend it went very well and we really
enjoyed it. We stayed at the Sands Hotel Burray for one
night and found it excellent in every way. The room was
comfortable, the food great and the atmosphere very friendly.
All in all an action packed weekend. On Sunday we spent
the morning on the beach at No.4 Barrier before joining
the ferry at St. Margaret's Hope. On the way back to Gills
Bay we passed Stroma on the East side, it looked quite populated
until having a closer look most of the houses had no doors
or windows and obviously had seen better days. |
