On Monday the 24th January 2005 I went
to Inveruglas which is approximately 4 miles North of
Tarbet on the West side of Loch Lomond.
The weather had been pretty poor of late and although
the forecast was not the best I decided to take the opportunity
to check out our next Mountain. (Ben Vorlich)
There was a lot of frozen grass and snow about so decided
to concentrate on the views around Coire nan Each above
Sloy Power Station.The Visitor Centre
is the ideal place to park and has plenty of things to
do if you don't feel like launching yourself up a hill. There
is a ferry service to Inversnaid which is almost opposite
the Centre on the other side of Loch Lomond, the Centre
has a small Cafe and well maintained Public Conveniences.
