(02) 28th March:

Sorry for the lack of attention to my diary, but have been very busy this year. I have just managed to finish some
photographs I took on a quick visit to the Orkney Islands on the 10 October 2005.

(03) 18th May:

Again I have to apologise for the lack of attention to the Diary, I unfortunately lost my Camera above the hills between
Loch Thom & Largs. Returned there three weeks in a row without success of finding it.
If that is not bad enough my main hard disc gave up the ghost and only now I am getting the new one back to the way
it was.
Hopefully soon I will have a new camera and get back taking landscape photographs.

(04) 30th July:

Again I must apologise for the lack of attention to my diary; I have replaced my Camera with a FinePix S7000.
I am still in a learning curve with it but like what I have seen so far.

The weather forecast for 25th July was for cloudy & cooler; we decided to climb Ben Vane. What happened no
clouds just a slight mist in the distance and red hot. My dog seriously overheated in the way down and lost the
use of her back legs.
We manage to coax and lift her to a wee burn which cooled her but didn't help the legs. Our immediate problem
was that we were 2 miles up a private road with locked gates. In Scotland this road has public access for people
but not vehicles.
Fortunately Hill farmers were around shearing their sheep and when I approached them they couldn't be nicer and
brought her to where I could pick her up in my car. I am forever indebted to them for their help.
It has been a long time since we went up the hills and all the streams were dried up.
However Nehemiah made a full recovery the next day and back to her usual self.

(05) 5th August:

On the 15th July we went back to where I lost my Camera to walk up Burnt Hill. It was a beautiful day and the views
were fantastic, a bit too much of a heat haze to get perfect pictures however enjoyed the day. I did manage to
stumble on the boggy long grass and prang a couple of ribs on the way up which are now only beginning to feel better.

(06) 5th November:

Have added Knapps Loch Kilmacolm to my collection, I always walk there when I am not wandering further afoot.
No matter what time of year the scenery is beautiful. Knapps
